A refurbishment from a compartmentalized house to a house open to the landscape.

This is a house very close to the sea in Valencia with incredible views to the sea.

The distribution at its origin was compartmentalized, small rooms with no light and no flow between spaces.

We opened the house to the sea, it became a "mirador", it opens up to a seascape.

The atmosphere we wanted to create is like standing on the beach watching the sea. The treatment of the new façade became the key of the project, we opened new “eyes” to the landscape as if the openings from inside were now frames, paintings

We used natural materials, neutral colours and soft textures so that nothing inside the house attracts the viewer’s attention and the focus is always on the landscape.
